This week I have done a lot of reflection about what it takes to be a good teacher. As I thought about this I began to reflect upon how far I have come in so many different aspects of teaching. I recalled how the time I first looked at a lesson plan template 2 years ago I was completely lost. Now filling out lesson plans comes with ease. I realized that the more I practice writing lesson plans, working with students, critiquing and grading the more confident I will be. There is power in numbers especially when it comes to number of times you practice something. The more I practice the better I will get.
