My Story
Why Be An Art Teacher?
I want to be a teacher because I believe that each student deserves a positive role model in their life. For me, my teachers were always the role models I looked up to. Without the teachers I’ve had who supported me as a child, I am sure I wouldn’t have ended up being as successful as I am today. I believe art is a way of self expression as well as self healing, which are two very important necessities to live a happy life. Which is why I want to become an art teacher to help children not only gain those important life skills but also to support my students the way my past teachers supported me
