Self Evaluation

     1. What two dispositional areas do you feel very comfortable with and why?

The two dispositional areas i feel very comfortable with would be professional behaviors and initiative/dependability. I feel comfortable with professional behaviors because I know that I easily and consistently demonstrate professionalism both inside and outside of the classroom. I also am confident in my ability to take initiative and be dependable because I am passionate about teaching art and love to take on new opportunities. Also when I say I will do something I will always get it done.

        2. What is one dispositional area you want to focus on during your

student teaching semester? 

One dispositional area I would like to focus on during my student teaching would be cultural responsiveness. This past semester I didn't get an opportunity to interact with my students families and I think that doing so could have benefited a handful of my students. Next semester I hope to have the opportunity to work with students families to best meet my students needs.

        3. Any other thoughts about Professional Dispositions related to you being a successful educator?

I think that this semester I have grown exponentially in my ability to become an effective teacher, I look forward to continuing to strengthen my ability to become a successful educator in the future.
